RENTAL POLICIES You must be at least 21 years of age to rent any of our equipment. How far in advance can I reserve the Inflatables? The earlier you can make your reservation the better chance you will have at getting the date and items you want. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but we will always work with you, even if it’s a last-minute request. When we receive your reservation, we will send you an Order Confirmation (usually via email unless otherwise requested), a copy of the Contract, and Safety Instructions for the equipment that you are requesting. Is a deposit required to reserve my date? For most backyard parties we do not require a deposit. However, we may require a non-refundable deposit of $50 (per unit) when you are setting up in a park. We will work with you to agree on a set-up time. A responsible adult needs to be at the park when our crew arrives to set the unit(s) up and someone must remain with the equipment until our crew comes to pick it up. Our crew will call when they are on their way, so be sure we have a contact phone number for the person that will be on site to meet the crew. If you (or the contact person) are running a few minutes late, let our crew know when they call. We typically have several set-ups to do each day, so if no one is there at the scheduled time, our crew will wait no longer than 15 minutes after the pre-arranged set-up time, even if you have called. They will then have to leave in order to be on time for the next set-up. If our crew leaves and you want them to return and set up the unit(s), it will have to be after our last set-up (times will vary), and there will be an additional fee of $25. We have implemented this in an effort to be fair to everyone. We do not want to disappoint several other kids by being late for their party just because someone before them was running late. How long can I keep the Inflatables? Each reservation is given personal attention and we will be as flexible as possible when working with you and your schedule, provided there are no overlapping reservations. We try to get all units set up by 11 am, but depending on our schedule for the day, set ups can begin as early as 8 am. Pick-ups are usually done before dark. What is U Bounce A Lot's policy on inclement weather?
If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your reservation we will be happy to work with you to reschedule with no penalty. As a safety precaution, if it is actively storming we will not deliver or setup the unit. However, if it is not actively storming and you wish to have the unit set up, we will be happy to do so. Once we begin setup we will be unable to provide any reimbursement or refund for bad weather. We will work with you the day of your rental if threatening weather is present or approaching. Should it rain during your event, we advise against using the inflatable until the rain stops and the unit has been dried off. This can easily be done by pushing all water toward the front of the unit and then using a few beach towels to dry the jump surfaces. Jumping on a wet surface could result in slipping and/or severe injury. Do I need to provide anything or do anything special?
U Bounce A Lot will provide and set up all necessary equipment. The blower motor(s) will need to be located within 75 feet of a standard electrical outlet. If that is not possible, a generator will be required (we have them available for a small fee). Customer supplied generators can be used. However, electrical output capacity provided by customer-supplied generators needs to meet the electrical demand load(s) of all blowers in use. We are not responsible for undersized generators. Customer is responsible for any damage to blowers or units due to inadequately sized generators. The area must be cleared of any debris or pet droppings to keep the setup process quick and efficient. We will not set up units in an area that is not cleared. What should I expect on the day of the party? How does the process work? We will deliver and set up the unit at a prearranged time. Before and during setup we will discuss placement options for the unit, and go over any questions regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. Full payment is expected when the crew arrives to set up the equipment. The crew will not set up any equipment until full payment is received. You will be provided with an Invoice at that time, requiring your signature. You should also have a signed copy of the Contract and the Safety Rules to give the crew. Where can I have the Inflatable set up? The units can be set up in many different places on your property. The surface must be mostly flat and relatively firm - grass, concrete, and asphalt are all acceptable. You should have at least a 5 foot clearance on all sides, and no overhead wires or branches. We will anchor the unit either by driving stakes into the ground or by using sandbags or waterbags where stakes cannot be used. How safe are your Inflatables? All of our Inflatables are commercial grade, clean and well maintained. It will be necessary for an adult to be in direct supervision of jumpers at all times. By following basic rules, all children will be safe and have a great time. If you need someone to stay with the unit to supervise the jumpers, U Bounce A Lot can provide an attendant for a minimal cost. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my reservation? For small events, simply give us a call. If you need to reschedule your reservation we will work with you to choose another day. We do request that you provide us with as much advance notice as possible. The sooner we know about the need to reschedule the more flexible we can be. Once the equipment is delivered and signed for, there will be no refunds. Can I use an Inflatable at a park? Absolutely. You will need to reserve the area and get a permit if necessary and fill out all necessary paperwork. U Bounce A Lot is on the Brevard County Parks list as a preferred vendor but you may need to fill out additional paperwork with the parks. Please be sure to ask when reserving park space. If a generator is required, it can be supplied by U Bounce A Lot at an additional cost. Do you have Insurance? Yes, U Bounce A Lot is fully insured for general liability coverage. We are only responsible for our own negligence; not yours. This statement in no way implies legal responsibility. Am I responsible for damage to the Inflatable? Each rental unit will undergo a complete physical inspection upon setup and again at take down to check for visible signs of damage. Renter is responsible for any and all damage that occurs during the rental period. |
